I’ve been a writer all my adult life, working as a copywriter for well-known advertising and marketing agencies, and latterly with my own business. Disturbing the Water is my first work of fiction, a collection of original ghost stories.
These are all what you might call traditional ghost stories, but rather than the standard settings of haunted houses or Gothic graveyards, they mostly take place around water.
Many of the protagonists are anglers, but you emphatically don’t have to like fishing to enjoy them, and there’s very little actual fishing – just some decidedly fishy places.
Read more about the book here.
About half the stories also feature real history, from the English Civil War to the Witch Craze, and from World War II to a Victorian serial killer. I’ll be writing more about the individual stories on My Blog
